Has lockdown got you thinking about how self-sufficient you could be?
Gardening and growing your own can be enormously fulfilling especially as you can grow your own produce which can go from garden to plate in a matter of months. On the other hand if you just enjoy gardening it can be so enjoyable watching plants grow through the season and getting a sense of achievement when a flower pops out and puts a smile on your face.
Don't be afraid to give it a go, winter is the perfect time to start planning. If you have a small patch of grass or soil start to prepare the ground ready for planting in February / March.
