Enhance your garden with our exquisite Corten steel pond, providing both serenity and charm. This unique water feature can accommodate various plants and fish, transforming your outdoor space into a mesmerising oasis. Create a moving water feature by adding a fixed or freestanding pond wall.

The interior surfaces of the Corten steel ponds are coated with polyurea so the Corten steel will not affect the pond water. The ponds feature a fixed internal overflow pipe and optional inlet holes drilled on either the short or long side (please specify when ordering).

Corten steel has an orange-brown colour, the result of a natural rust layer. Another name for Corten steel is weathering steel: weather conditions have a positive effect on this material. Corten steel is a metal alloy made by adding copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium to iron. When exposed to air, the material forms a protective layer of rust. This natural coating prevents further corrosion, so the ponds will last for many years.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What do I need to do before installation?

A: It's important that you install the pond on stable level ground. Most people will choose to lay a concrete pad, although a compressed hardcore bed will also suffice.

Q: Does the pond include the pond wall?

A: No. Pond walls are sold separately.

Q: Can I keep fish in my Corten steel pond?

A: Yes. We always recommend that if you're planning to keep fish - or might in the future - to opt for our 600mm high ponds. This provides sufficient protection against frost during the winter months.

Q: Can I bury the pond so the top sits level with the ground surface?

A: Yes, this method of installation is becoming increasingly popular amongst garden designers. The Corten steel isn't affected by being buried.

Q: Can I add a filtration system? Do you supply these?

A: Yes, you can add a filtration system, fountain or pond lights. These are additional products which we do not supply.

Q: Do you provide an installation service?

A: No. Unfortunately, this is not a service we offer at this time. Whilst installation isn't difficult, any landscape contractor will be able to install the pond.

Free national kerbside delivery within the UK mainland. Please note, for products over 2.3m in length, the client is responsible for unloading at the point of delivery. Please refer to our delivery terms and conditions.

Installation

Provide a level, solid surface. If not done carefully, this can cause
tension which can result in damage to the product.
Place the pond in the desired position.

Care & maintenance

We’re constantly finding new ways to become more sustainable, so we only select products that are built to last.

The product should be unpacked immediately upon delivery to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop uneven rust patches.
Water features should be installed on a firm, level surface.
The weathering process may cause rust run-off.
The guarantee expires if you drill or grind in a way that is not specified.
The water used in this product should have a neutral pH value (7) to protect the look and quality of the material.
Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt off the product with tap water.

Returns

Returns must be completed within 30 days from the delivery date. Orders cannot be cancelled prior to delivery. The client is responsible for the cost of returning any item, this is non-refundable. Bespoke made-to-order products are not eligible for return or exchange. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
