Care & maintenance
If gloves become wet allow to dry naturally away from direct heat, reshaping on the hands when damp. Apply natural leather conditioner if needed.
Returns
Returns must be completed within 30 days from the delivery date. Orders cannot be cancelled prior to delivery. The client is responsible for the cost of returning any item, this is non-refundable. A brand founded in 1826
Founded in Yeovil, Somerset to service the 20,000 glove makers employed in and around Yeovil. Pittards employed around 25 people in 1912 and production during the First World War centred on treated sheepskin to make warm trench coats and mittens for the British Army. By 1955 it was able to launch a guaranteed washable dress glove leather. It placed consumer advertising women’s magazines and held live in-store demonstrations.

Leading exporter Ethiopia
Pittards has operated its tannery in Edjersa since 2005 and it manufactures leather for gloves footwear and footwear linings.The leather is used by our own glove and footwear production in Ethiopia as well as being shipped to brands worldwide, making Pittards not only an important local supplier in Ethiopia but a leading exporter.Pittards Ethiopia also makes and exports a range of gloves from rugged work styles to fashion dress gloves for third party brands.
