We’re constantly finding new ways to become more sustainable, so we only select products that are built to last. We recommend looking after your bowl correctly to increase its lifespan.

Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop patches of uneven discolouration.
Clean annually by hosing dirt from the product with clean tap water, followed by cleaning with detergent. Do not use a pressure washer and/or scouring pad for this purpose. This damages the coating.

Q) Can I put aquatic plants in my steel bowl?

A) Yes. Oxygenating aquatic plants will help to keep the water clear and will be very much welcomed by the insect population.

Q) Does the bowl have a drainage hole?

A) No. Whilst these were originally manufactured with a central drainage hole, this is no longer the case.

Q) Can I also use this water bowl as a fire bowl?

A) No. This isn't suitable for burning wood in as fire will destroy the powder coated surface. If you're looking for a fire bowl, have a look at the Halo Bowl designed for burning wood in.

Finally, the water bowl is finished with a hard topcoat of Qualicoat Class 2. These layers ensure that the water bowl is of very high quality and is guaranteed for five years.
