The Risdon & Risdon Gardener's Apron is a beautifully styled and practical gardening apron. Available in a 10oz cotton canvas with leather straps, made from beautiful full grain Italian leather attached by our unique custom snap fasteners (remove before washing).

Bib pocket sewn in two sections - there is also a small hidden pocket on the inside of the bib. Three large front pockets. Adjustable neck strap with nickel plated brass buckle. Adjustable belt strap with Sam Browne stud and bridle clip. Reinforced corners. Risdon & Risdon branded post rivets on pockets. Fully washable. 100% cotton.

Care & maintenance

We’re constantly finding new ways to become more sustainable, so we only select products that are built to last. We recommend looking after your apron correctly to increase its lifespan.

Remove the straps for washing.
Hand wash at up to 30°C.
Do not soak the leather for too long.
Reshape while damp. Do not spin.
Do not tumble dry. Line dry.
Iron fabric on reverse.

Returns

Returns must be completed within 30 days from the delivery date. Orders cannot be cancelled prior to delivery. The client is responsible for the cost of returning any item, this is non-refundable. Two generations have brought together creative strengths and ideas. Mother and sons - Carla, Alex and James - each have a clear design perspective. Founder Carla has a background in textiles, sewing and making - mixed with a passion for traditional craftsmanship and a love of modern design. Alex is the leather worker with a natural talent for working raw materials into beautiful pieces. James is behind the branding, design and photography.

Quality materials

The leather comes from Italy where generations of specialist tanners take great pride in producing the best leather. A carefully selected canvas with a robust cotton texture and a strong weave. Known as a half panama, it has 2 weft threads in parallel, this gives the material a linen look. Each apron is cut by hand and chain stitched, finished with British brass rivets and buckles.
