Two generations have brought together creative strengths and ideas. Mother and sons - Carla, Alex and James - each have a clear design perspective. Founder Carla has a background in textiles, sewing and making - mixed with a passion for traditional craftsmanship and a love of modern design. Alex is the leather worker with a natural talent for working raw materials into beautiful pieces. James is behind the branding, design and photography.

The leather comes from Italy where generations of specialist tanners take great pride in producing the best leather. A carefully selected canvas with a robust cotton texture and a strong weave. Known as a half panama, it has 2 weft threads in parallel, this gives the material a linen look. Each apron is cut by hand and chain stitched, finished with British brass rivets and buckles.
