Care & maintenance

We’re constantly finding new ways to become more sustainable, so we only select products that are built to last. We recommend looking after your Corten steel planter correctly to increase its lifespan.

  • The product should be unpacked immediately upon delivery to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop uneven rust patches.
  • The weathering process may cause rust run-off.
  • The guarantee expires if you drill or grind in a way that is not specified.
  • Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt off the product with tap water.

FAQs

Q) Will my planters arrive rusty?

A) All planters are dispatched un-rusted. The rusting process will start as soon as you place them outside.

Q) How long will the planter take to rust?

A) This is dependant on the weather, but the natural process can take anywhere between 3 and 12 months.

Q) Do the the planters have drainage holes?

A) Yes, all planters have a minimal amount of drainage holes, which allows our customers to drill more if required.

Q) Do you make custom sized planters?

A) Yes! Just let us know what size you require and we'll send you a quotation.

Q) Will the planters stain my patio?

A) This is a possibility yes, although the invisible 15mm feet raise the planter off the ground to prevent direct contact. It's certainly not a problem we ever hear about.

Q)How does delivery work?

A) The haulier will contact you 48hrs before delivery, proposing a day for delivery which you can either accept or suggest an alternative. We offer free kerbside delivery on planters less than 2.1m in size. We prefer if customers are at home to take delivery, but you can also authorise a safe place for them to be left at the front of your property. For planters larger than this, the customer is responsible for unloading.

Superior quality

Adezz Corten steel planters are distinctive and stylish garden water features. Water adds atmosphere and depth to any garden space, whilst the block itself looks stunning amongst lush greenery. All water blocks include a pump and LED-lit fountains as standard, so you can enjoy this water feature at night too!

Guaranteed Corten

Corten steel is a metal alloy made by adding copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium to iron. When exposed to air, the material forms a protective layer of rust. This natural coating prevents further corrosion, ensuring the planters last for years. Unlike many cheap foreign imports, Adezz steel is certified and guaranteed Corten steel.

A word from the expert

Contemporary warmth in cylindrical form

Cylinders bring height without bulk, and the Circum does it with industrial elegance. Popular among garden professionals for good reason; the tall, slender profile creates vertical interest while the circular form keeps sight-lines open. Available in a huge range of sizes with full customisation options, these work brilliantly in multi-height clusters for maximum impact. Handmade from 2mm certified corten steel with a folded top edge and drainage holes as standard, they're engineered for decades of service. The developing orange-brown patina works equally well in industrial minimalist schemes or traditional gardens where the rust tones complement natural materials. No assembly required, just position and plant. This is height with refinement, contemporary warmth in cylindrical form.
