Care & maintenance

As an easy care product made from pressure-treated wood that protects against rot, there is no need to apply any treatment within the first 6 months of receipt. Doing so will invalidate the warranty, as this will not allow enough time for excess moisture from the pressure treatment to dry out. However, after this period, you may apply annual treatment to prolong the life and look of the product.

Warranty

10 year manufacturer's guarantee against rot

Championing convenience, with fewer products that are easier to assemble

The Hampshire Arbour is the largest in the collection standing at 1.97m wide and 2.06m tall. Although large, the arbour’s natural wood finish and delicate design mean it will fit perfectly in any garden arrangement.

Seating up to three people, it's an ideal way to enjoy the summer evenings with family or friends. The Hampshire Garden Arbour comes with a spacious 1.55m storage box, ideal for tool storage. Made from pressure treated wood and guaranteed against rot for 10 years, this is a garden arbour made to last.

Pressure treated

Longer lasting protection against rot and decay

Dip treated and pressure treated timber both protect wood from rot, moisture and insects, but they work in different ways. Dip treated timber is submerged in a preservative solution, creating a protective coating on the outer surface of the wood. Pressure treated timber, however, undergoes a more intensive process where preservatives are forced deep into the timber using hydraulic pressure. This deeper penetration provides stronger, longer-lasting protection, making pressure treated timber the more durable option for garden structures exposed to the elements.
