First class garden product of the year Chelsea finalist, guaranteed not to dissapoint

This zinc trough planter is crafted from heavy gauge galvanised steel, finished with a special treatment to give them an aged patina, and is decorated in a traditional Georgian style complete with Tudor roses and decorative balls. Offering a myriad of uses in the garden, including as containers for topiary box balls, roses, small shrubs, trees and flowers.

The planters are made from 1.5 mm galvanised steel. Their bottom panels are drilled with drainage holes to allow free drainage, and there are special 6cm feet in each corner to keep the base clear. All the ornamentation is galvanised separately, and they also include galvanised coach bolts to hold them together. The decorative balls and Tudor roses, as well as the legs, are galvanised cast iron.

The hand-finishing process on our zinc planter gives an aged patina that can be variable and will alter over time and location, meaning we cannot guarantee that the finish on all our planters will be identical.

Traditional garden planters

Galvanised zinc garden furnishings made in Britain

Georgian splendour

Made from heavy gauge galvanised steel, and decorated in a traditional Georgian style complete with Tudor roses, decorative balls and their signature coach bolt rivets. Available in a range of classic and contemporary colours, they are then finished with a special treatment to give them an aged patina.

Made to last

Made in England by artisan metal workers. Because the products are hot dip galvanised, they have a long life. You'll never confuse these planters, window boxes or water butts with inferior products made of glass fibre or plastic - these are premium quality, British-made garden products.

RHS Chelsea finalist

Unsurprisingly, the Georgian style water butt was listed as a Garden Product of the Year Chelsea Finalist in 2015. Available in two sizes with customisable options, it's a product guaranteed not to disappoint.

A word from the expert

An English Country Garden

The trough format is garden design's secret weapon - long, low, and impossibly versatile. This Georgian-styled piece works equally well flanking doorways, dividing spaces, or creating rhythm along a terrace edge. At 800mm wide, it's sized for impact: think a row of clipped box balls, a seasonal display of tulips, or a permanent planting of architectural grasses. The Tudor roses and cast iron balls add gravitas without fussiness, while those 6cm feet ensure drainage stays sorted. The aged patina finish means it looks like it's been gracing your garden for generations, not weeks. Linear elegance with proper heritage credentials.
