Care & maintenance

Willow is affected by water ingress and UV rays from sunlight. To keep your willow
supple and prevent rot, we recommend regular treatment applications.

  • The best treatment solution is a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and turpentine substitute. This is best applied with a garden pressure sprayer, but a paintbrush can also be used if preferred. Treating your product twice a year will maximise its lifespan.
  • Try to protect your products from continuous damp conditions and very hot, direct sunlight where possible.
  • Canvas planter liners are water-resistant and tear-proof. Replacements can be
    purchased if needed.

A masterfully crafted garden retreat, the Willow Nest Pod is an expert interpretation of contemplative seating, engineered for both ground placement or suspension. Hand-woven in rural Suffolk using English willow, this sanctuary encourages moments of solitude, introspection, or intimate conversation. The meticulous weaving process around a robust steel framework creates an integrated, durable structure that paradoxically conveys both stability and ethereal lightness.

Offered in two sizes, the smaller nest takes one or two adults in comfort; the larger welcomes up to four. Inside each nest, a soft, feather-filled mattress rests on an English Oak platform, upholstered in sustainable water and mould resistant fabric and available in four carefully curated colour ways.

Hand woven around a coated steel structure, these nests are designed to stand the test of time, that's why they come with a lifetime repairs guarantee.

Willow is an incredible natural material, it’s not only beautiful and practical but it’s also sustainable and renewable. All the willow is UK grown and has a very gentle carbon footprint.There’s virtually no processing required before working with the willow. Freshly cut ‘green’ willow can be weaved straight into a fence or structure, and the cut willow that is stored just needs a good soak before it’s ready to weave.

A unique weave

Constructed using small bands of willow which are woven and compressed regularly as the structure is crafted. The signature weave uses up to twice as much willow as a standard willow garden products and although it is a little more time consuming to create, the end result is a much finer finish and ultimately a stronger, more durable and longer lasting willow fence.
