  1. Dig a hole in the ground at least as big as the base of the
    water block. The depth depends on the height of the base of
    the water block and the thickness of the foundation it sits on.
  2. Place a solid and level foundation at the bottom of the hole.
    Make sure there is an opening in the centre through which the
    power cables and water drainage can run.
  3. Next place the base of the water block on the foundation and
    place the pump inside.
  4. Lay the top of the water block on its side next to the base so
    the hose from the fountain can be connected to the pump.
  5. Then run the pump and fountain power cord through the
    overflow and out from under the water block.
  6. Please note that the water table comes fitted with a two-pin plug and arrives with a separate UK adapter. We advise the use of a weather-proof junction box and seeking help from an electrician to assist with installation.
  7. Cover the base of the water block with gravel, it completely
    disappears from view and the water seems to run straight into
    the ground.
Care & maintenance

  • The product should be unpacked immediately upon delivery to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop uneven rust patches.
  • Water features should be installed on a firm, level surface.
  • The weathering process may cause rust run-off.
  • The guarantee expires if you drill or grind in a way that is not specified.
  • The water used in this product should have a neutral pH value (7) to protect the look and quality of the material.
  • Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt off the product with tap water.

FAQs

Q) What do I need to do before installation?

A) Get your spade and start digging - or have someone do the digging for you! The water block operates with an underground reservoir so you need to site this below ground during installation.

Q) How long is the cable?

A) There's two! The pump and the LED light run on separate circuits; each has a 10m cable.

Q) Can I hard-wire the water block into my property?

A) Yes, but your electrician needs to be careful! The pump is straightforward to hard-wire, but the LED light plug has a built in transformer which if removed will overload your lights causing them to break. Hard-wiring the pump and the lights will void their warranty.

Q) Does the water block require a water supply?

A) No. Water blocks are self-contained units that recycle water through an underground reservoir.

Q) Are water blocks safe for pets to drink out of?

A) Yes, as long as you don't use chlorinated tablets to keep your water clean. Always use non-toxic organic alternatives.

Q) Can I plant directly around the water block?

A) No. The area immediately around the water block has a grill which allows the water to flow down the block and into the underground reservoir. We recommend covering the grill with a large gravel, pebbles or stones.

The water flows smoothly down the sides of the block into the underground collection reservoir before being pumped back to the top. The LED lighting provides extra ambience at night. Made from 4mm thick aluminium with a powder coated scratch resistant topcoat.

A choice of four standard colours are available; all other RAL colours available for an additional setup fee. An integrated LED light yields a beautiful transformation in the evening. Its simple design is complementary to both contemporary and traditional settings and is perfect for gardens, courtyards and commercial premises. 

If you're looking to buy a water block longer than 2.3m, please read our delivery terms and conditions before making a purchase. Setting it up is a simple, but we do advise you seek help from an electrician when connecting the unit to a power supply.

Step 1

Dig a hole big enough for the base of the reservoir and lay a solid foundation leaving or slot or laying a conduit for the cables.

Step 2

Place the reservoir inside the hole. Put the pump into position and thread the cable through the oveflow.

Step 3

Connect the hose inside the block to the pump. Thread the LED light cable through the overflow pipe.
